A produção do The Game Awards revelou, nesta terça-feira (16), todos os jogos indicados ao prêmio de melhor do ano em 2021. Na principal categoria, de Game of the Year, a lista não trouxe nenhuma grande surpresa. Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart e Resident Evil Village foram os indicados ao prêmio de Melhor Jogo de 2021.
A festa do The Game Awards 2021, que tradicionalmente é apresentada por Geoff Keighley, será realizada em 9 de dezembro.
